10 things to do on Valentine's Day when you're super single

With Valentine's Day slowly creeping around the corner it's always annoying being single with no plans. I'm not really one for such a cliche holiday. I don't necessarily like roses or the thought of someone showing me once a year that they care. Just seems like a Hallmark holiday, but maybe I'm just bitter because I'm alone this year. 

1. Being single doesn't mean you're necessarily alone. Grab some friends to go bar hoping with (even though it is on a Sunday) around my area we are doing a Cupid bar crawl! 

2. Go out to dinner with friends. Wear all black, sharp winged eyeliner & drink heavy amounts of whiskey. 

3. Pamper yourself for the day since you aren't spending money on some guy. So basically treat yo self. 

4. Volunteer at a local animal shelter. Because that guy from the bar probably won't call you. I can promise these dogs or cats will smoother you with love & kisses. You can even walk foster dogs for a day!

5. Hang out with family, because there's really nothing better. 

6. Have a date night with yourself. Buy the biggest tub of ice cream possible. Make yourself a huge glass of red wine & watch every single movie involving Channing Tatum or Liam Hemsworth. 

7. Explore nature because you'll love the view. It'll be nice to escape for awhile & disconnect from your phone. There's some really great hiking spots around here such as Great falls & Bears den. 

8. Buy that sexy lingerie you've been eyeing at VS for awhile. Men don't really care for them to begin with but at least you'll feel cute & sexy. 

9. If you live in the city like I do, create gift bags for homeless people. Everyone needs a little love. Remember most people don't have the best dental care so a lot of teeth might be missing. Fill bags with things such as Hersey kisses, homemade sandwiches, bottle of water, hand warmers, Chapstick, & a hand written note. Just a few ideas. 

10. Just remember that even though you may be single for Vday, all & all it's really not a big deal. It's okay to be a sexy independent woman.
