Detroit April 7-10

Still exploring this new city & did so many exciting things while there! 

John K. King books. Super fun place! Had three levels of books to look through. Kind of disorganized which stresses me out but I did get some good books. 

Astro coffee. This little nook holds a special place in my heart. 

Signal-return printshop. Randomly stopped by this place with Alex & Bill. I loved these! Not what I ended up buying but tempted to come back for these. 

Tigers opening day! Basically a huge drunk fest. I hung with the guys all day & I'm not even mad about it. Loved getting to day drink & dance. Was the warmest day the whole weekend, & I happened to wear way to much clothes. No good, lesson learned. These guys are awesome. 

Got some snow while I was there! Even though it's supposed to be spring.. Guess not in Michgian. Look at this beautiful day of life! 

Alex & I explored the people mover that took us around the city! Like a 20 min ride so super quick but it was fun to see the city from within the heat.. Because it was way to cold out. 

Sugar house. Double date with Bill & Tom. I've never been so overwhelmed with so many choices. 

Detroit institute of arts. One of my favorite pieces. Pretty much enjoy anything with flowers.. We tried to go through quick but some of the stuff was really interesting. For sure need to visit a few more times to see it all. 

Belle isle conservatory. This is hands down one of my favorite things. If you know me you know I love flowers. This place is filled with them! Succulents! Flowers! Cactus! I'm a happy camper. I can't wait to see this all the time. 

Eastern market. Has easily become a hotspot for us. We can go shopping, get good coffee, antique shop & buy organic food. 

DJ SNAKE! Was so insanely good. It was held in this beautiful building which I was almost surprised they held it there since people trashed it. But oh my god. An amazing show! So good to see him live. Felt amazing just moving to the music & singing along. 

Cannot wait for my next visit to Detroit. Everytime I go it's like a new adventure. Something exciting & fresh. I'm always happy. I'm excited I get to share it with Alex & I'm happy to see what else we can see.
